We take care to describe the book accurately. Chapter descriptions summarise content and are not a warranty that any specific topic is covered to a particular depth.
8. Medical disclaimer
The book is a professional and educational reference. It does not constitute individualised medical advice and does not create a physician–patient relationship between the author and any reader. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician, who must account for the individual patient, local protocols, institutional policy and current regulatory requirements. Nothing in the book or on this website promises or implies any outcome of any investigation or treatment. Patients seeking guidance on their own care should speak with their treating physician.

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any loss said to arise from clinical decisions taken by a reader. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Refunds
Returns and refunds are covered by our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
